The Beginning of Aditis Cakery: A Hobby That Felt Right

I’ve just loved making things — whether it was art or food. When I realized that other families were celebrating their special occasions with something that I had made, it just clicked. I knew that this was it.

No one in my family had ever run a business. I’m the first woman to do this — even if it’s a home-based bakery. And that means everything to me.

The majority of my customers have just an idea and say, ‘We trust you.’ That makes me work harder. I am also motivated by what I learn on the net and talk with my fellow bakers. We exchange a lot of tips with each other.

Begin small. You don’t need everything to be perfect. Just begin. Be consistent, do your best quality-wise, and enjoy the process of it all. You’re not baking alone — you’re making someone’s day.

Some days will be difficult. But when people adore your work — it’s all worth it.

My aspiration is not only to bake cakes — I desire to create a reputation which represents creativity, consistency, and courage.
